I prepare this page so it will be of some use to people who are very new to Linux and would like to get a system up and going but can't be bothered about all the details and the tech.... and all the nerd stuff...Why Linux ?Ok!. That is a start. Linux is a (very) fast alternative to Windows NT etc and it can run as a webserver on a system with about 64 MB ram, a P-133, 4.3GB etc. By the way, this is the spec of the machine on which I am running a webserver.
